Séminaire de recherche DOP
We consider the multi-item, capacitated multi-resource lot sizing problem with start-up
costs. Our motivation comes from the two-stage production process of the glass
container industry. Wehave studied this extension during our project carried out in Porto University.
Ayse Akbalik is graduated from Galatasaray University - Istanbul from Industrial Engineering Department (1998-2002). She received her MS (in 2003) and PhD (in 2006) in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France. She carried out her post-doc studies at CORE (Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium 2006-07) and at Laboratoire des Technologies de la Microélectronique (CNRS, CEA, 2007-09) in Grenoble. She spent one year at TOBB ETU - Ankara in Industrial Engineering Department as a visiting professor. Between 2011 and 2020 she has been assistant professor in Industrial Engineering Department at Université de Lorraine. In 2020 she became HDR (habilitation à diriger des recherche) in Computer Science. She currently works at Laboratoire LCOMS for her research activities. Her research interests include optimization in logistics, production planning, lot sizing, integer programming and dynamic programming. She has also been a visiting researcher at University of Porto, Portugal in 2018 and 2019 springs, to work on multi-item lot sizing, cutting & packing problems and fleet sizing.
